6 maintenance transactions successfully completed in March
Tecumseh, MI– Locally owned aviation maintenance bidding website MROinsider.com announces they have closed their best month to date.
Since the company’s launch in October at NBAA-BACE 2017, MROinsider.com has registered 23 facilities providing avionics, paint, interior, airframe, and turbine and piston engine repair/overhaul services nationwide. Co-founder and VP of Sales Andy Nixon announced on Saturday, “We have registered one aircraft for each day in March. We attribute this to our current promotion for Kentucky Derby tickets for aircraft owner/operators that register on the website, as well as the increasing awareness about our company.” Additional entries into the drawing are given for requesting maintenance quotes and scheduling maintenance through the website. The promotion runs through April 11th.
The company is rapidly changing the aircraft maintenance industry by providing a platform for aircraft owner/operators to send required maintenance out for bid to any facility possessing the capability to service that aircraft. It also allows aircraft owner/operators to learn more about the maintenance facilities, read customer reviews, see contact info, and more. Stuck on the ground? The website even has a unique search function that uses the aircraft’s current location or airport identifier to display AOG capable facilities and/or trucks, with the closest being listed first.
Aircraft owner/operators can create a user profile and utilize the site at no cost. All aircraft data is kept confidential,
with no sharing or selling of information. You may sign up for a live webinar on the company homepage for a quick
demonstration on how the site works. The annual subscription fee for maintenance providers starts at $1,000 and is
priced based on the size of the provider. The yearly fee is a flat rate with no additional costs paid to MROinsider.com.
The company is offering a reduced “early adopter” rate available in 2018 to celebrate the official launch and growth of
MROinsider.com was founded in 2016 by Lindsay Irwin and Andy Nixon to improve upon the current system of word-
of-mouth referrals for aviation maintenance services. After hearing and speaking to many aircraft owner/operators,
including large 135 companies, Lindsay and Andy realized the industry needed to become more transparent and
democratized. By creating a platform for small/medium/large maintenance facilities to quote the same required
maintenance, and allowing third party reviews, the site accomplishes that mission.
MROinsider.com has exhibited at AirVenture 2017, NBAA-BACE 2017, and attended the HAI Heli-Expo in 2018. They will be exhibiting May 1-3 at the NBAA Maintenance Conference in Albuquerque, NM.
Andy has been involved in the aviation industry from a young age and chose to pursue a degree in aviation. Upon graduation, he began working in MRO facilities. With Lindsay’s background in operational leadership, the team drew upon their experience to begin MROinsider.com.
